A little arcade energy for your next game night.
Downloading won’t change your alerts automatically. On supported Samsung phones, choose it in your phone’s settings using the steps below.
Samsung setup Manual setup
- Tap Download Lobby Ping. In My Files → Downloads, find Lobby-Ping.wav.
- Touch and hold the file, tap Copy, then go to Internal storage → Notifications → Copy here. If the folder is hidden, change Essentials to All; create a Notifications folder if needed.
- In phone Settings → Notifications → Advanced settings, turn on Manage notification categories for each app if available.
- Use Send me a test alert above. Touch and hold that notification, then tap Settings. It may appear under Squad Signal or your browser, such as Chrome.
- Open Notification categories if shown, select the category for Squad Signal or squad-signal-isaac.pages.dev, then choose Sound → Lobby-Ping. Send another test alert to check it.
Menus vary by phone and browser. If there is no Sound option for this site, custom sounds may not be available. Changing a shared browser category can change other websites’ sounds too.

iPhone System sound
You can preview and download Lobby Ping, but iPhone doesn’t let this web app use a downloaded file as its background notification sound.
For regular alerts, add Squad Signal to your Home Screen from Safari’s Share → Add to Home Screen. Open that icon and enable notifications. In Settings → Notifications → Squad Signal, allow notifications and turn on Sounds if shown.
Saving Lobby Ping to Files or turning it into a ringtone won’t assign it to Squad Signal notifications.
